nighttime thoughts

I need to stop setting morning ‘personal tasks’ for myself. Like writing for 15 mins each morning or an hour of yoga each morning. Not that these aren’t excellent tasks but I totally suck at mornings. Suck, I say. I have these lofty goals of greeting the rising sun awash with the revelations of my night’s dreams and doing vibrant sun salutations. Instead I’m a grumbly bitch, irked at the annoying brightness hurting my eyes, restlessly tapping my foot waiting for the friggin coffee and staring daggers at my sickeningly sweet and chipper child. Writing and yoga can ge done just as well at midnight, and with much less grumbly bicthitude.
